Mudita Bhargava
Charity Founder, Gender Activist &
Budding Politician
Mudita Bhargava spent 20 years working as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Trader at several financial institutions including RBS, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Bear Stearns, Dillon Read Capital Management and Citadel Investment Group. She managed firm capital, built trading desks and enhanced client relationship and business development. She attended high level meetings with key global clients including Foreign Central Bank Governors and officials. Mudita also organized women’s leadership events for senior female clientele.
Mudita takes an active role in non-profit work. She is currently a Co-Founder and Director of The Parity Partnership, a Board Member for the Urban League of Southern Connecticut, a Founding Board Member for the India Cultural Center of Greenwich, and an Ambassador for the Clinton Foundation. Mudita also volunteers for several organizations including The Magic Bus global childhood education organization, Inspirica Women’s shelter, and The Robin Hood Foundation.
Mudita is currently serving on the Civil Rights and Racial Justice Policy Working Group as well as the Gender Equality Policy Working Group for the Hillary for America Presidential campaign. She also volunteers her time to the campaign in fundraising and canvassing efforts across the country as well as hosting events locally.
Born and raised in Canada, Mudita received her BA in Electrical Engineering at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
Mudita resides in Greenwich, CT with her husband and two children.
