Kristen is an Associate Vice President at Prosek Partners, a financial communications consultancy based in New York City. She joined the firm in 2010 and has since worked with top management on several of the firm’s largest accounts, including Aberdeen Asset Management, Capital One Bank, Edward Jones, OppenheimerFunds, RBC Capital Markets, Synchrony Financial, The Travelers Cos., among others. Her expertise spans across several sectors from financial services to insurance to B2B.
Kristen has a strong track record in media relations and regularly works with national, vertical and trade media outlets. For her clients, she oversees overall account maintenance and specializes in corporate and expert positioning/storytelling, thought leadership amplification, executive visibility, message development and reputation management.
She maintains relationships with media and industry influencers at Bloomberg, Barron’s, CNBC, Financial Times, Forbes, Fortune, Institutional Investor, Morningstar, Pensions & Investments, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, among others.
Prior to her work at Prosek, Kristen worked as a communications assistant at George Little Management and Moffly Media. In each role, she was responsible for media relations for company-sponsored events, news writing for online postings, researching and implementing cross media message strategies and developing social media plans.
Kristen graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fairfield University, where she received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communication, with a primary concentration in media studies, and a minor in Marketing. She is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Sigma Nu.
