Diane O'Bryan Johnston

Diane O’Bryan Johnston is the Market Leader for the Eastern Region with Towers Watson Investment Services in New York, where she works with clients and prospective clients regarding their investment portfolios. Diane specializes in the areas of clients’ investment strategy, asset allocation and product knowledge.

Diane has 19 years of experience in the areas of institutional investing, sales, marketing and investment banking. Prior to joining Towers Watson, she was most recently a Director with WHV Investments responsible for strategic partnerships, new business development, and client communications for WHV’s suite of boutique investment products. Ms. Johnston was also a Vice President with OppenheimerFunds, Inc., where she was responsible for thought leadership and managing the Investment Specialist group. Prior to Oppenheimer, Diane worked for Fidelity Management & Research Co., as Director of Special Situations, during her tenure the four-person group invested $1 - $3 billion annually in both equity and high yield private capital market raises for all FMR funds. Diane has also held roles in institutional sales and trading with Needham & Co. and Salomon Smith Barney, and structured finance investment banking with Jefferies & Co.

She earned an executive education in Business Administration from The University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and her B.A. in Economics from The University of The South, Sewanee. Diane holds the Series 7, 24 and 63 FINRA licenses.
