Some prior roles include SVP, HR for GE Money Americas leading a workforce of 25,000 across 12 countries; SVP, HR for GE Capital Global Equipment Services & Consumer Finance managing workforce of ~13,000 across 26 countries driving “red assets” divestitures; VP, Executive Development managing GE’s talent management & succession processes; VP, Commercial Programs leading commercial growth initiatives & talent pipeline; VP Latin America where she managed the regions HR, marketing and communication practice.
Cynthia is an alumna of GE’s Human Resource Leadership Program and Corporate Audit Staff. She has been a speaker on Organizational Change, Culture and Executive Development at CEB, University of Michigan, GE’s Crotonville and quoted in several publications including Harvard Business Review. She has served on the board of the Center for International Business Education at the University of Michigan and currently serves on Advisory Boards with Linkage Women in Leadership and Norwalk Community College.
Prior to joining GE, Cynthia pursued entrepreneurial ventures in China and Japan. She also managed her family business in the U.S. telecommunications industry.
Cynthia earned an MBA, MA in Japanese Studies and BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan and lives in Connecticut with her husband and children.
